Nick Harvey looking towards site
Nick Harvey (MP for North Devon) is standing beside Mo Mugridge (blue jacket) as she shows him the field in which the turbines would be. UKIP MEP Roger Knapman is in the brown jacket just between and behind them. Although a public footpath goes through the field, we did not enter it as it was full of sheep and lambs.

Nick Harvey comes to see the Bickleton site (where developers would like to put three giant 130 metre, 400 foot, turbines.)

North Devon MP Nick Harvey came to Yelland on April 17 to meet people who live near this site. He was met also by UKIP MEP, Roger Knapman, and together they walked up to have a closer look at the field where the turbines could be.

A reporter from the North Devon Gazette came along too, and an article with a photo was in April 29th's edition (no link available unfortunately)

Nick Harvey has been a great support to the people of North Devon, both at Fullabrook and at the many sites south of Exmoor, in their fight to save North Devon's greatest asset, its landscape, from needless destruction.

After coming down from the hill, we heard a large plane flying low overhead. Someone said it was a Hercules (I am not an expert on planes so I take their word for that) and it came low over the hill. We had earlier seen helicopters flying across the hill, and on an earlier visit, Mo and I had seen two fighter planes swooping low across the site.  This seems hardly the right spot for three giant turbines!
