SARAH NORMAN – Director | Sarah is originally from Zimbabwe, where she was a
founding member of the country’s only multi-racial theatre
troupe. She moved to London three years ago, and shows here
include the UK Premiere of Wole Soyinka’s King Baabu, and Peter
Dunne’s The Geometry of Love (now being published by Samuel
French). Upcoming projects include assistant directing at
Shakespeare’s Globe, a rehearsed reading at the Arcola, and then
another new play, The Interview at the Pleasance, Edinburgh |
HENRY LEWIS - Writer/ Producer | Has written
a number of satirical revues and musicals including Joan of Kent (The
Channel Tunnel Rail Link), Scott of The South Circular (the music
business) Sex for The Masses (the tabloid press). Apart from theatre
and rambling (2,500 miles in the last 15 years) he loves trains Henry
has done many pioneering shows on the rail network (commuter
trains + platforms) to help promote rural branch usage. Proudest
moment: entertaining the entire railway industry at the annual awards
with a rap number including the names of 74 railway associations and
companies. Sold his car in 1998. What joy! He never knows what’s round
the corner. |
Kevin Power | trained at
the Arts Educational schools London. On graduating, he toured the Far
East in a musical revue for six months. His West End credits include
The Pirates of Penzance, South Pacific, Metropolis, King, See-Saw,
Grand Hotel and A Cavalcade of Coward. Tours and rep include Jesus
Christ Superstar, Gypsy, Chicago, The Italian Idol, It's Christmas
Carol, Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens. Kevin has just
returned from Italy where he opened Milan Fashion week for Mariella
Burani by singing a Michael Buble medley. He will be returning to Milan
to work on two record projects and is delighted to be back in Devon
working on The Wind Thing. |
Katie Hayes | graduated
from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in July 2005. Previous
roles include the Woman in Green in Peer Gynt (Dale Theater Kompani),
Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bright Angel Theatre), Gail in
Cigarettes and Chocolate (Convent Productions), Duchess Felmet in Wyrd
Sisters (C-Venues) and several workshop performances with the National
Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. |
Stephanie Ware |
Stephanie
graduated
from The Bridge Theatre Training Company, a charity-based organisation,
in 2001. She features in the Portobello Film Festival’s opening title
The Confidence Trick by Jon Gilbert and Christopher Ross, that was also
shown at the 2003 L.A. Shorts Film Festival and Raindance 2003. This
lead to a more substantial role in the feature film Alone Together as
Naomi, which was screened at the Berlin film festival 2004, directed by
Martin Stitt. She has spent the last 3 years writing, devising
and performing in comic musical shows for English students in Spain and
Portugal with the interactive theatre group Clever-Pants. She is
currently the voice of Tork, an animated Elf for a Spanish Dubbing
Company |
Nathan Dunkin | is a
graduate of East 15 Acting School. He is originally from
Portland, Oregon where he performed in everything from musicals and
Shakespeare, to children's theatre. Past roles include Berowne in
Love's Labour's Lost, Twins Hugo and Frederic in Ring Round the Moon,
Jack in Into the Woods, Scoop in The Heidi Chronicles. This show
is his first in England since his recent graduation. |
