Chris Burchell
Chris Burchell lives with his wife Yvonne, also an artist, in the hamlet of Foghanger, near Lamerton and Brent Tor, close to the site at Beech farm where an application for two turbines was turned down after a Public Inquiry in October 2006.
In the painting on the left you can just see Brent Tor in the distance, through the trees. The painting below is of Yes Tor, only a few miles to the East. Another application (for three turbines) just below Yes Tor was also turned down after a Public Inquiry that finished in September 2006.
