Npower is planning to put 9 x 103m wind turbines at Batsworthy Cross, next to Rose Ash, Rackenford, Creacombe and Knowstone and half way between Tiverton and South Molton. These turbines will be visible from Dartmoor to Exmoor.
Airtricity has approached landowners about a massive wind turbine site just north of Knowstone around Luckett Moor, Pauls Moor, Bullaford Moor and Wester Bullaford Moor.
Coronation Power are proposing to put 4 x
125m wind turbines at Bickham Moor near Oakford and East Knowstone.
